Meet Emily Dickinson's new school board trustee liaison- Greg Neil

-Greg introduced himself as the new board liaison to ED with 10 years on the school board and 4 kids through the BSD. He replaces Gary Lusin as the ED liaison.

Principal’s Report – Nellie Brown

-School off to a great start- 86 Kinders, 35 students new to ED, 548 total students-largest elementary in the district

-Urgent safety request for bikers, walkers and drivers- use the crosswalks always and drive alert and slowly. We have already had a very close call.

-Drills start next week-fire and evacuation

-We need a yearbook coordinator for ED this year-reach out to Nellie

Treasurer’s Report – Danielle Fedore

- Fun Run is our biggest fundraiser of the year-target $50-60k typical, smaller fundraisers include restaurant nights and Bingo night

-Money is used to support art programs, Bozeman Children’s Theater, teacher grants for classroom

Business

- Open positions: Vice President & Event Coordinator-reach out if interested!

-Volunteers needed: Restaurant fundraisers and teacher grants- to manage these PAC programs

-A motion passed to approve the 2025–2026 PAC board as listed above.

Event Planning

-Open House: Sept 24 5:30-6:30-Volunteers needed to hand out Otter Pops at 6:00 in the pavilion

-Bozeman Children’s Theatre: The Lion King:Auditions: September 19School only Matinee & 7:00 PM public Performance: October 2311:00 am public Performance: Sat October 24

-Fun Run: Oct 2, 2026-Packet assembly complete-THANK YOU ALL!! Assembly: Sept 18 2:30 Field Setup: Oct 1 @ 5:30 PM*Volunteers needed for setup and day-of help
